collaboration-reflective statement

In terms of the collaboration project: it has been quite interesting, as this was the first major project for me in a group. The social aspect of the group has been particularly interesting for me - from a personal perspective -, as we were put into groups that we hadn’t previously worked with; which could reflect a real work situation in which you may be working within new colleagues in a team. Working on the Collaboration project through the set weeks has been interesting, but also testing as  there have been some tension between the team members (which again may reflect the real-life work environment). I found this a difficult situation to be in, but these problems were easily solved through discussion;  and we have now begun to work effectively as a team. A major positive is that we have been able to produce an animation for the project in the time scale that we had and to specification.  There have also been minor personal achievements which I am proud of and that I feel I could take forward to my next project in the near future. Such as an improvement in my abilities within Maya, which has led to a boost in my confidence for the programme when modelling or animating.
