tool kit 1; autodesk Maya

reflective statement: in the first year of this course for the Maya lessons, has been a bit of a struggle as this was almost complete new territory for me and learn bit by bit on the go. the course help to build skills manage my workload or switching between projects that I was working on around the same time.  I always found it easier to do 2d animation then 3d. during the time on the course, I learn not to leave unfinished projects on USB which I found out the hard way. "what if metropolis" and "fantastic voyage" were the major Maya animation files that weren't entirely directed with help from tutors, which did lead me to stumble on certain aspects in the final outcome for both projects "the rendering was a nightmare".  over the course of the summer break, I plan to improve on what I learned and make a fully functional model of my own design with the knowledge I got from this first-year messing about with the UVs and so forth. links to the work:

life drawing portfolio submission

life drawing was one of the more interesting classes as creativity was encouraged throughout the group, and there were fair praise and crit to peoples work. most of the still it was slightly hard at the start as I wanted I still to the right proportion but came out wrong on the out end, but as the weeks went on the who nitpicking on the proportion went and I got more confident with the weeks going with the flow of the session seeing what happens and trying it. also, a4 sketchbooks are a lifesaver as I hated lugging a3 pages around with me. to conclude these life drawing session have been fun and interesting. Final Prez by Gravevelgra on Scribd disclaimer: all of the drawings here are from the lessons that I have attended if there are any missing that maybe due to absence during certain lessons across the year
