week 10 was the final project for the character design stuff where we where given a tv show and had a day to construct a entirely new character and children product and  even give them gadgets and reconstruct them as a car. we made the villain known as Fernando trying to stick to the style of the show(wild Kratts) with how everything looks

Today was my first tutorial for the premise project with my tutor. In this particular tutorial, we discussed ideas of where I could go for the project but as I have no clear set idea of where I want it to go at the moment, I’m planning as suggested on looking at simplistic designs from things such that like Lego or other kid-related items/styles and then adapt them to a particular story like the “tortoise and hare” for instance . I may go a different direction with what I Wanna do something completely different later down the line but I feel this is a great place for me to start personally, for the kind of work/animation, I want to produce before the next the tutorial I have. So for my work now I will be just looking at simple designs and styles (child based possibly) that can be using the 3D format and possibly evolve from there

In terms of the collaboration project: it has been quite interesting, as this was the first major project for me in a group. The social aspect of the group has been particularly interesting for me - from a personal perspective -, as we were put into groups that we hadn’t previously worked with; which could reflect a real work situation in which you may be working within new colleagues in a team. Working on the Collaboration project through the set weeks has been interesting, but also testing as   there have been some tension between the team members (which again may reflect the real-life work environment). I found this a difficult situation to be in, but these problems were easily solved through discussion;   and we have now begun to work effectively as a team. For my hero and villain’s movie review be looking at the 2008 film “the dark Knight”. the film itself is set in the DC universe with Batman and Joker as the main hero and villain in this film and also its main focus. The reason why I chose “the dark Knight” is because as it features both Batman and Joker it displays qualities that will be considered binary opposites such as good versus evil Batman versus Joker /corrupter versus reality/ sane and the insane /dark light and weak versus strong. In the dark Knight a large constant contrast between the actions of both the Joker and Batman; with Batman taking cleaner action against criminals and the Joker just basically creating absolute anarchy compared to his counterpart.
